  1. Dear Miss G
    1. In 1969 the first person took a step on the Moon
    2. Humans might want to live on Moon because some countries are over populated
    3. There are three valuable resources like Moon dust, tantalum and sulphur
    4. 1kg is about 25000 dollars to transport and you have to use a lot of force
    5. The Moon has no gravity or atmosphere.
    6. It is hard because you can’t get much stuff in space
    7. Scientists have found two materials that makes bricks
    8. The two materials that you need are Moon dust and Sulphur
    9.Drawing in reading book
    10. I think they should do testing and then if the tests results are good they should do it

  2. Dear Miss Galtieri,
These are my answers for the task.

In what year did humans land on the moon?
The first human life to land on the moon were Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. They landed on the moon in 1969 (three years after the first batman television series came out).

    2. Why might humans want to live on the moon?
Humans would like to live on the moon because two reasons. Firstly, there are many valuable recourses and second the moon also has a very weak atmosphere and gravity force; this would make a really good space station to travel.

    3. What valuable resources are on the moon?
There is many moon recourses that are worth billions on the moon. There is also traces of water vapour.

    4. What is the hardest part of getting into space?
The hardest part of getting to space is probably breaking the atmosphere and gravity force.

    5. Describe the conditions on the moon. Consider gravity and atmosphere.
    The moon has 1.622m/s2 Gravity.

    6. Why is building a base on the moon difficult?
There are hardly any building materials and it is very expensive to send things to space.

    7. What solution have scientists come up with to build on the moon?
Two materials on the moon can make strong bricks.

    8. Which two materials are mixed together to make the bricks?
    Moon dust, and sulphur no)16.

    9. Draw a picture of the buildings that could be made from the bricks.

    10. Do you think scientists should build a space colony on the moon? Give reasons for your answer.
I think they should because there are rare minerals and it will be a good space station.

  3. Dear Miss Galtieri,

Here are my answers to the questions on BtN – Moon Landing

    1. Humans first landed on the moon in 1969.
    2. Humans might want to live on the moon because earth is becoming crowded.
    3. Moon dust and sulphur are both valuable resources that are on the moon.
    4. The hardest part of getting to space is the amount of money spent.
    5. The atmosphere on the moon contains some strange gasses, there is not as much gravity as earth, I know this because if you jump on the moon you go very high.
    6. Building a base on the moon is difficult because it costs a lot to get supplies to the moon and there aren’t as much supplies on the moon as earth.
    7. Scientists have discovered mixing moon dust, sulphur and baking it creates a firm brick that can be used to build stuff.
    8. Moon dust and sulphur can be mixed together to make bricks.
    9. Picture didn’t come out
    10. I don’t think scientists should build a space colony on the moon because living on the moon seems to extreme for me and it is more likely that a meteor will hit the moon than earth, there might even be a place where it is common for meteors to hit and we could build on it without knowing.

  4. Dear Miss G,
Below is my comment for the BTN:Moon living.
    1. In what year did humans land on the moon?
Humans landed on the Moon in 1969.
    2. Why might humans want to live on the moon?
Humans might want to live on the moon because under its surface there is lots of rare resources that we use.
    3. What valuable resources are on the moon?
Some valuable resources that are on the are rare elements that we use in technology and moon dust which combined with sulphur also on the moon can create brick.
    4. What is the hardest part of getting into space?
The hardest part of getting into space if getting past Earth’s atmosphere and gravity during takeoff. They have to build up immense power and energy to break through all five of Earth’s atmospherical layers.
    5. Describe the conditions on the moon. Consider gravity and atmosphere.
On the Moon there is a lot less atmosphere and gravity.
    6. Why is building a base on the moon difficult?
Building a base on the Moon is difficult because to take Earth resources to space costs a lot of money. Also we can’t take things like cranes and building machinery to space either.
    7. What solution have scientists come up with to build on the moon?
Scientists have decided that they can use Moon dust mixed with sulphur which creates bricks. This is a great solution.
    8. Which two materials are mixed together to make the bricks?
The two materials mixed together are Moon dust and sulphur.
    9. Draw a picture of the buildings that could be made from the bricks.
✅✅✅✅✅ the buildings that could be made of bricks are dome shaped.
    10. Do you think scientists should build a space colony on the moon? Give reasons for your answer. I think that scientists should build a space colony on the Moon because it would provide great opportunity for man and also help people learn more about space.

  5. Dear miss Galtieri
These are my answers to the BtN video.

    1. In what year did humans first land on the moon.
Humans first landed on the moon in 1969.

    2. Why might humans want to live on the moon?
We might want to so we can get rarer resources.

    3. What valuable resources are on the moon?
One of these things is sulphur witch in combination with moon dust can make bricks.

    4. What is the hardest part of getting into space?
Getting past the atmosphere is the hardest part.

    5. Describe the conditions on the moon. Consider gravity and atmosphere.
The moon has very little gravity and has no atmosphere. So movement is very easy.

    6. Why is building a base on the moon difficult?
Because bringing building materials into space is extremely expensive.

    7. What solution have scientists come up with to build on the moon?
They can make moon bricks with moon dust sulphur to make building easier.

    8. Which two materials are mixed together to make the bricks?
The bricks are made by combining sulphur and moon dust?

    9. Draw a picture of the buildings that could be made from the bricks
    Done

    10. Do you think scientists should build a space colony on the moon? Give reasons for your answer.
Yes, because we could use this base to collect rare minerals to aid the people on earth.
